I was going to write my own reaction, but I think that Jay Cost, over at RealClearPolitics.com has already said what I think. I find his analysis to be the fairest and most representative of my feelings. Read it here.
The only thing I would add, is that I agree with this article that posits he may have hurt himself in the general election. I hate pointing it out, because I was pretty moved by Obama's speech and find it an encouraging sign that he will follow through on his core promises. It saddens me that what is a very liberal and positive stance on a very nasty issue could cost him.
