Yes, Mr. President, you are. I would say, nothing short of an executive order addressing this is acceptable. Unless Congress can pass a same-sex benefits law quickly. No fumbles, no gaffes, no back burner. And no more of this Rick Warren everyone-to-the-table BS. It should be clear everyone has not come to the table, and probably will not. Secretary Clinton says that GLBT issues need to be addressed as part of the larger human rights concern; she is correct, and the President needs to make good on his promise to "work hard" for the GLBT community. If gay people get brushed under another president's carpet, they won't forget, and they won't forgive this time.
