They tried to make me go and re-vote and I said, "No, no, no."
Florida Democrats have spoken, and they say, "No do-over." This has the media in a tussle over it, calling it a "blow" to Clinton and crying about the woes of the Florida delegation. Meanwhile, DNC member Jon Ausman has filed a petition with the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee challenging the charter's verbiage and arguing for the inclusion of both Florida and Michigan. First, let me say, I'm not sure how this is a "blow" to Clinton, who clearly won Florida. If the DNC is already responding to Florida's reticence to have another go at it, there is certainly hope at least that Florida will be included, and if it is, it will be as-is. I really doubt the 50/50 argument will go anywhere. Second, let me say, I can't believe that Florida and Michigan are still being lumped together. Michigan was a whole different schematic, and hopefully Democratic leadership will acknowledge that.
