Impeach Pelosi

Anyone who reads this column regularly knows that my favorite Love To Hate politician is Nancy Pelosi. I believe she is the exact antithesis of what she should be, and what she claims to be. As the first woman to ever be Speaker of the House, making her the most powerful elected woman in the history of American politics (which she also guaranteed herself for a few more years by aggressively undermining Hillary Clinton in the 2008 presidential primaries,) Pelosi should be a role model to women and to liberal, peace-loving, democracy-building, coalition-supporting politicians everywhere. Instead, she is a partisan hack who greedily hordes her personal power in Congress, and openly bullies, threatens and intimidates anyone who is less than totally subservient to her. She is a tyrant and a hypocrite, and worse, in two short years not only has she become George W. Bush's attack dog / yes-woman, she has also single handedly paved the road for the Bush Administration to walk all over the Constitution and bolster its own corrupt regime to imperviousness.
